Defence-side pets (Lion, Elephant, Grizzly, Gen-2 Moose) exist but only buff rally survival – they don't change outgoing damage to the bear, so the calc skips them. See the maths page for why.

One hero per class, as on the in-game rally screen. Order doesn't matter — all three apply.

Joiner pool i

As a joiner, send no hero rather than a weak one.
Joiners contribute only their hero's first skill to the rally's 13-slot pool. Junk skills (cav-only, non-damage) push out damage ones, so an empty slot beats a weak joiner. As leader of Your Rally, you contribute all 9 skills; always bring your strongest hero.
Pairing only matters in Your Rally, and only if you coordinate.
Same-type buffs add, different types multiply (Lethality + Attack ≈ +12.5%). Buffs stack within a single rally, so pairing only pays off when you host and can dictate which heroes the joiners bring. In a large alliance, rallies fill in seconds and that rarely happens. More →
